The Knox Room

Named after Ziba Knox, the 2nd owner of the house. A magistrate from Vermont. He helped secure patents for local inventor Walter Hunt, who invented the sewing machine, safety pin, original car horn concept and lubricated flax ropes for local flax mills.

His likeness is located on the East wall in The Gentlemen’s’ sitting room.

This room features 2 double antique beds and a private bath with a shower.
