The Griffith Room
Occupying the house in the early 1900s, the Griffith family holds the longest period of ownership of this house and this bedroom is dedicated to their family.

The Waters Room
Originally the Sewing Room, this bedroom is dedicated to the third owner of the house, Van Rensselaer Lansing Waters - a wealthy dry goods merchant who developed the village water district and Lowville Academy Central School.

The Knox Room
Named after Ziba Knox, the second owner of the house, this bedroom was home to the magistrate from Vermont who helped Walter Hunt secure patents for his inventions, including the sewing machine, safety pin, original carn horn concept, and lubricated flax ropes for local flax mills.
